Marybeth Lynch

Marybeth has 19 years of experience mobilizing teams to deliver outstanding strategic outputs to a diverse client base across pharma, biotech, and medical devices. She leads global cross-functional teams through all project phases from design to communication and implementation of innovative results. She has deep knowledge across R&D and IT, with a love for partnering with clients and their teams, so they perform at their best. In a prior role, Marybeth built outstanding collaborative relationships with clients resulting in an overall 9.8 / 10 client satisfaction score sourced from a JDPower-approved survey.

Marybeth founded Excelerate after leading business strategy and transformation projects, as well as operational and process redesign work in senior leadership roles at premier life sciences boutique consulting firms. As an Associate Partner in IBM’s Global Business Services, Marybeth was instrumental in the proof-of-concept for the Watson deep analytics platform for Life Sciences and in developing a pipeline of business opportunities for that technology. Prior to that, she worked for five years at Merck, mostly in R&D.

Marybeth is a life-long learner, continuing to invest in herself and her team to sustain delivery of unprecedented value for their clients. In addition to having an MBA from NYU Stern & London Business School, Marybeth has an engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, and has earned multiple professional and personal awards for excellence, leadership, and charitable work.

Marybeth’s commitment to GHN stems from having family members with autism. She joined GHN, because she was inspired to leverage the skills she developed, first as a corporate employee and then as an entrepreneur serving corporate clients, into the not-for-profit space to make a difference for children.
