Trenton Summer Youth Employment Program

Trenton, NJ. We provide resources for the Summer Youth Employment Program,” administered by Millhill Child and Family Development, Trenton Area Stakeholders, and Rider University.

The program links organizations with internships & entry-level employment opportunities to residents (ages 16-21) to help create meaningful work assignments and important job experiences. The program includes 2 days of job readiness training, job consulting placement services, and support to help individuals obtain up to 30 hours per week of work, from June-August. As a result, participants earn money, utilize their new job training skills, and advance their resumes through real-life work experiences.

Over 100 internships have been created since 2018.
