Hear Me Now is a major project of Giving Hope Network.  The Hear Me Now project is an effort to assist people who suffer from ASD (autism spectrum disorders), especially young children.

Hear Me Now fosters collaboration among organizations (e.g., schools), as well as businesses and parents/individuals who share our goals. By working with schools, we seek synergistic developments of best practices so that their students with ASD can eventually find jobs that utilize their individual skills.

At present, we are intensely focused on emerging evidence that iPad use greatly enhances communication skills and learning ability—hence quality of life—of people with ASD.

Campaign Story

While numerous organizations focus on autism, almost all the money they raise is used to seek a cure for ASD through early intervention.  Instead, Hear Me Now will focus on the following goals:

  • Establish partnerships with organizations, businesses, and individuals who share our goal of transforming the lives of those with ASD, to enable them to fulfill their highest potential, including eventual employment as adults
  • Raise revenue needed to obtain 10,000 iPads, with specific learning applications designed for children with ASD; these will then be donated to schools for use by children with ASD
  • Establish methodologies with these schools and families in order to quantify improvements in communication skills that result from directed and supervised iPad use
  • Collect feedback (i.e., testimonials and quantified data) for future use in order to educate and update parents, the medical community, and the scientific community regarding the link between iPad use and enhancement of communication skills
  • Enlist donors to enable us to donate 10,000 iPads and foster the goals of Hear Me Now
