Joe’s experience in the world of charitable giving is hallmarked by his five-year tenure as director for the New York City Partnership for the Homeless, domiciled at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Washington Square in New York City. Every Monday through Thursday, October through April, the shelter would take in ten men per night, age fifty-five and older, into a safe, inviting environment. With the assistance of the Partnership, many guests landed employment, received subsidized housing, and ultimately became volunteers themselves. In addition to the Partnership, Joe has supported – both financially and through active participation – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The US Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, The Community Health Action of Staten Island, and The St. George Theatre Restoration, Inc.
Joe brings his experience as a Certified Financial Planner with Merrill Lynch. He has dedicated the past twenty years to investment portfolio management.
