John Cassimatis
Board of Trustees

John Cassimatis is responsible for partner management. In this role, John facilitates the identification of partner organizations that have needs aligned with the mission of GHN. He helps mobilize the GHN network of help to meet those needs. The reason John joined the GHN Board is his passion for helping those in need and his belief that by leveraging the broad talent, time, and financial resources of the GHN network, GHN can truly make a difference.

John is very active in community organizations, and has volunteered consulting services to numerous non-profits. He is also currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Millhill Child and Development Center in Trenton, N.J. which provide services to at risk children and their families in the Trenton area. He is also one of the founding members and the first President of the Hillsborough Education Foundation. Previously John also served as a Board member of the Association for Advancement of Mental Health based in Princeton NJ.

Professionally, John is the co-founder and an owner of TayganPoint Consulting, a mid size management consulting firm based in Lambertville NJ. He has over 25 years experience advising and working with some of the world’s leading corporations across a number of industries. His specific areas of expertise include strategy formulation and implementation, business process improvement, organizational re-design, change management, and information technology strategy and effectiveness. TayganPoint was the result of a merger of Taygan Consulting with VantagePoint Consulting Group, a firm John founded in 2005. Prior to starting VantagePoint, John led the U.S. Business Transformation Practice for First Consulting Group’s Healthcare and Life Sciences consultancy. John began his career at Arthur Andersen and subsequently held leadership positions at Kepner-Tregoe and Ernst & Young’s Performance Improvement Practice in New York. John has a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University.

John, his wife Dottie, and three daughters, Janice, Sara, and Christine live in Hillsborough, NJ.
