Michael has nearly 30 years of Finance and Healthcare experience, in both large and mid-sized multi-national pharmaceutical/vaccine corporations. His experience results from having held varied roles, during his 27 years with Merck, including F, P&A, Investor Relations, Controllership, Accounting, Project Leadership and Treasury. He has a track record of effective and collaborative partnering with operating leadership to help achieve strategic objectives while concurrently maintaining the integrity of financial processes and related results.
Prior to joining Merck, he served as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young in their Princeton Office. Michael earned both his B.S. in Accounting and an MBA from Rider University. He also holds CMA and CPA designations.
Michael has been engaged in the Montgomery Township, NJ community over the past 10 years, including for the past 5 years serving as Co-Treasurer for the Boy Scout Troop #850, and earlier, having coached numerous youth basketball teams. He has been married to his inspirational wife, Jenifer for over 25 years, and has two incredible children, Rebecca and MJ. He is an avid (though admittedly average) basketball player and occasionally still attempts to call upon his memories as captain of his University’s Tennis team.
In joining Giving Hope Network, Michael is excited by the “Network” concept, and the GHN Board’s application of business tools and techniques to guide its ability to increasingly give back to the community, and he is eagerly looking forward to contributing to GHN and expanding his charitable involvement.
