Tom Morrissey is a Certified Public Accountant with 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax, estate and business consulting. He is a trusted proactive advisor who enjoys working with clients. With his vast experience and knowledge of taxation, he has helped many clients structure tax related transactions always mindful of changing tax law and economic conditions. Tom is recognized in the community for his expertise and has lectured to various groups on a range of tax and business related topics.
As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, he incorporates his accounting software consulting with developing solutions for businesses in the areas of entity formation, cash flow management, operations budgeting, payroll processing and tax compliance.
Tom holds a BS degree in accounting from Rider University. He has served on various boards of non-profit organizations including the Kiwanis Club of Toms River and the Rotary Club of Forked River. He is currently treasurer of the Rotary Club of Forked River for the second time. He has served as District Treasurer of Rotary District 7500 and past Treasurer of the Forked River Rotary Foundation. While serving on the board of Rotary, he has twice been recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. In addition, he is currently on the Rotary District 7500 finance/audit committee and is looking forward to his recent appointment to the board of Giving Hope Network.
Tom and his wife Diane reside in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey. He has three children: His daughter Katie recently married; his daughter Kelly graduated from Penn State and is working in New York City; and his son Thomas, Jr. who currently attends Penn State. Tom is an avid skier whose hobbies include traveling, fishing and golfing.
